If you want to make the best trip hop, rap, or hip hop sounds at a cheap price then you need to get one of these Planet Phatt it's the bomb. The Planet Phatt has the 808,909,303,606,626,505,101,202,404,70 and 727 drums that sound great. It's easy to hook up and we start with the back and set it Then we cover the front and all the buttons, knobs , and jog wheel, and as we do this we talk about the operating system to explain how the module works. Boob Moog a famous keyboard designer was responsible for over half of the Planet Phatt's sounds and he did a great job for my money. The samples are great and will never go out of style. I like the bass sounds too it's got that sound I can edit the way I want it and of course we set the camera in the right position to show you how it's done. Next I setup my MPC1000 and my Triton keyboard to make a track watch as I select a midi track for the bass line, then for the keys, and so on all the time I have the drums on my mpc1000, a midi cable going from the mpc to the Planet Phatt to send midi data and I send midi from my triton to my mpc1000 to record the data to a midi track on the mpc1000. This the way to use the your module in your studio. Even if you just have this Planet Phatt and a drum machine or an mpc type sampler you can make really great tracks just watch and learn from the Sample Kings.
